Day 4. Porridge with maca, agave, vanilla rice milk, vanilla protein powder and blueberries. Lunch was leftover sweet potato salad from last night in a wrap with sweetcorn, mango topped with lemon and lime soy yoghurt and a green tea. For snacks there was a blueberry yoghurt muffin, “apple crunch ” protein bar and rice cakes with nut butter. And for dinner it’s another #happyherbivore recipe. Split pea dahl curry on spinach.
Day 2 of my fitness challenge. Back and shoulders at the gym, which I can already feel when trying to get things out of cupboards. Started the day off with porridge, chocolate soy milk, choc protein, agave, caco nibs, maca and agave. Vegan blueberry and yoghurt muffin as a mid morning snack (recipe from Happy Herbivore), wrap with leftover “refried beans” from yesterday’s “Burrito bowl “, green tea and a nectarine. Protein shake after gym and a sweet potato salad with spinach for dindins. So tired though.
Day 2 of my 30 Day Fit Challenge. Managed to stick to my plan throughout most of today. Breakfast was apple cinnamon porridge, lunch was “burrito bowl” (recipe loosely adapted from “Happy Herbivore ” book ) and since we decided that not much was on at the cinema, we went around a friend’s house for a home cooked curry and a film. AND I got my bday prezzies from her! Dried fruit and Bad Neighbours. Good thing i didn’t pick it up myself Saturday. Do love a good catch up. 😊😊📀💬🍛

After a cake filled weekend i started the monday off with a lovely chia and overnight oats pudding, homemade protein bar mid morning and now given into temptation. Rainbow cake made by a colleague. So much cake. Better hit the gym, and hit it hard later!!
Protein Chocolate Lego bricks!! All vegan, too! Slightly grainy from the protein powder, but a good choc fix! Could do with some whole nuts in them! 👍🍫

Really fancied some sushi so made some. I shall call this “food prep for next week”. Still got some rice with beetroot left. That’s today’s dinner then! 🍣🍣🍣
Looked pretty sexy sat there on a shelf so I picked it up. Not tried it yet, but it does say “tastes surprisingly good” and we all know labels don’t lie.
